Matthew Gray Gubler stars as Dr. Spencer Reid on the CBS show "Criminal Minds". Gubler can be seen in the upcoming feature films "How to be a Serial Killer," "The Great Buck Howard" and "Pornstar." His other film credits include "R.V." and "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou."

A 2002 graduate of the NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, he is an accomplished filmmaker whose short films include "The Cactus That Looked Just Like a Man," "Claude: A Symphony of Horror" and "Tippi's Picnic." Gubler is the subject of the online series "Matthew Gray Gubler: The Unauthorized Documentary," which appears on Youtube.

As a model, Gubler has walked the runway for such fashion designers as Marc Jacobs, Burberry and Louis Vuitton. He was featured in Paper Magazine's 8th annual Beautiful People issue.

Gubler was born and raised in Las Vegas but he currently lives in Los Angeles.
