Life after loss: A journey through grief

A Journey Through Grief, a six-session grief class for people who have experienced the loss of a loved one, will be offered at the First United Methodist Church in Birmingham starting November 17, 2009. 

The group will explore the various stages of grief and the various techniques for coping with grief, working through grief, and even growing through grief.  The group will meet 6 consecutive Tuesday afternoons beginning November 17, from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m., at First United Methodist Church, 1589 West Maple Road, Birmingham, in the Martin Room (101).  There is no cost.

The church is located at 1589 W. Maple Road (between Southfield and Cranbrook) in Birmingham.

Advance registration is necessary.  The format requires a minimum of 5 people for the class to take place. Register by calling (248) 646-6407 ext. 3156 by Thursday, November 12.
