Come to the Lawrence Street Gallery during the months of November and December to see the work of Lawrence Street Artists, as well our November one-of-a-kind beaded jewelry show, and December exhibition of small work (under 12") from over 75 contributing area artists.
On display through the holidays are finely detailed holiday ornaments and wine stoppers by award winning woodworker and Lawrence Street Gallery artist Greg Smith. Watercolor art under glass forms the base of serving trays by member artist Judi Richards. Small (4"x4") brightly colored acrylic paintings of various subjects by member artist Linda Logan have attracted the attention of many of the gallery patrons. Look for pottery, prints, cards and more.
Our November (4 - 28) juried exhibition and sale of wearable pieces of beaded art is a first-time collaboration between artist designers and an artist beadmakers from the Southeastern Michigan Glass Beadmakers Guild in collaboration with the Great Lakes Beadworkers Guild.
Our December (2 - 26) juried exhibition of original small works, all-media, will feature more than 75 artworks, most in a cost range conducive to Holiday gift giving.
Gallery receptions on Friday, November 13 and December 4 (6:00 - 9:00 p.m.) will feature refreshments and opportunities to meet the artists. See above for regular gallery hours.
