44th Bi-Annual Michigan Collegiate Job Fair

Graduating seniors can meet one-on-one with prospective employers at the 44th Bi-Annual Michigan Collegiate Job Fair (MCJF), Friday, November 6, 2009 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., at Burton Manor, 27777 Schoolcraft Rd. in Livonia.

More than 100 employers are expected to participate in the fair, which is sponsored by Eastern Michigan University with the Michigan Association of Colleges and Employers (MiACE). MCJF is also promoted by more than 100 other two- and four-year higher education institutions.

One of the state's largest and longest-running job search events, MCJF celebrates 22 years of jump-starting careers for area students. It offers an opportunity for students to meet with potential employers looking to fill various positions. Graudates can also practice and obtain immediate feedback on interviewing skills.

Register online at www.mcjf.org, using the PayPal feature for payment, or send a resume and check for $10 to MCJF at Career Services, 200 McKenny Hall, Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti, MI, 48197. Fair brochures are also available at college and university placement offices.

The deadline for advance registration and the $10 fee is Friday, October 30, 2009. Registration at the door on Friday, November 6, 2009 at Burton Manor is $20. Doors open at 8:30 a.m.
