Lifelong friendships and family relationships are put to the test in exotic locations: this incomparable formula puts The Amazing Race in a class by itself and makes it a seven-time Emmy®-winning series. This upscale reality hit pits team members against the elements, opponents and sometimes, each other.
The Amazing Race is a six-time Emmy Award-winning adventure reality series hosted by Emmy-nominated host, Phil Keoghan, which pits 12 teams, each team comprised of two members, against each other on a trek around the world. At every destination, each team will have to compete in a series of challenges, some mental and some physical, and only when the tasks are completed will they learn of their next location. Teams who are the farthest behind will gradually be eliminated as the contest progresses, with the first team to arrive at the final destination winning $1 million.
