Weekdays at 7 a.m. Saturday at 9 a.m.

(CBS) It was anchors away for The Early Show Monday, as the broadcast welcomed Maggie Rodriguez as an official co-anchor, joining Harry Smith and Julie Chen, along with news anchor Russ Mitchell and weatherman and features reporter Dave Price.

The show also got new digs -- a brand new studio in the General Motors building in Manhattan.

The anchors gave viewers a quick look-see.

Along with that are new graphics, new music, original work by famed artist Peter Maxx and much more.

Harry Smith
(CBS) Harry Smith has been an anchor of The Early Show since October 2002. He also hosts a daily radio news and analysis feature, "Just a Minute," on the CBS News Radio Network. He serves as substitute anchor and occasional correspondent for CBS News Sunday Morning and anchored and contributed to CBS News documentaries, as well as to 48 Hours.

Smith has interviewed many newsmakers, including former Presidents Jimmy Carter, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, first lady Laura Bush, Sen. John McCain, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, former Secretary of State Colin Powell, as well as celebrities and sports figures including Madonna, Lauren Bacall, Morgan Freeman, Nicole Kidman, Gwyneth Paltrow and seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong, among many others.

Julie Chen
(CBS) Julie Chen has been an anchor of The Early Show, CBS News' weekday morning broadcast, since October 2002. She has covered several major news stories, including the war in Iraq, and in March 2003 she reported for the program from Kuwait and Qatar during the war.

Chen has interviewed newsmakers, including former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Queen Rania of Jordan, and former Defense Secretary William Cohen, as well as celebrities Tom Hanks, Ellen DeGeneres, Tom Cruise, Ben Affleck, Angelina Jolie, Chris Rock and Jennifer Lopez, among many others.

Maggie Rodriguez
(CBS) Maggie Rodriguez became a co-anchor of The Early Show on Monday, Jan. 7, 2008.

Rodriguez joined the CBS News broadcast The Saturday Early Show as co-anchor on June 2, 2007. In addition to co-anchoring The Saturday Early Show, Rodriguez reported for and substitute-anchored weekday edition of the broadcast.

She also has reported for the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric and substitute-anchored the weekend edition of the CBS Evening News.

Previously, Rodriguez had anchored the 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts at WFOR-TV, the CBS-owned station in Miami since August 2000. While there, she reported on and anchored coverage of a wide range of major news events, including many hurricanes and, from New York, the one-year anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks. She also was first on the air with coverage of the transfer of power in Cuba from Fidel Castro to his brother, Raul. The newscast later received an RTNDA Edward R. Murrow Award for its coverage of that story.
