"CBS Evening News with Katie Couric" Weekday evenings, Katie Couric and the most experienced corps of correspondents in network journalism cover the events that matter most from wherever they happen in the world. Among the team of distinguished CBS Evening News correspondents are Chip Reid at the White House; Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent Lara Logan; Bob Orr covering the Justice Department and Homeland Security; David Martin, who covers national security; as well as Chief Investigative Correspondent Armen Keteyian, Business Correspondent Anthony Mason and Medical Correspondent Jon LaPook in New York. CBS Evening News begins its 47th season on the CBS Television Network on Sept. 5, 2009. The program premiered as a half-hour broadcast on Sept. 2, 1963. Check local listings for broadcast times.
