  Novi's Motor Sports Hall of Fame of America is on the move.

• Pearson, Sims out for Lions-Browns game

  The Detroit Lions have listed three players as out for Sunday's game against Cleveland: guard Stephen Peterman (ankle), safety Kalvin Pearson (hamstring) and linebacker Ernie Sims (hamstring).

• Lions guard Stephen Peterman out for season

  The Lions have put right guard Stephen Peterman on injured reserve, ending his season, and signed wide receiver Eric Fowler from the practice squad.

• Tigers ink 4 prospects

  The Detroit Tigers set their 40-man roster today, purchasing the contracts of four minor leaguers: second baseman Scott Sizemore, shortstop Audy Ciriaco, first baseman/outfielder Ryan Strieby and outfielder Brennan Boesch.

• MSU doesn't have to beat PSU to have a good season, but it'd help

  I think this season has been fine. Nothing special. Nothing embarrassing, just fine. Now, if the Spartans could pull off the win Saturday and then finish the season with a bowl win (the first under Mark Dantonio), I think this season would look and feel a lot better.

• There are no moral victories for Michigan football, and there won't be a real win, either

  Maybe Tate Forcier puts it all together. Maybe the team finishes the game instead of faltering in the second half. Maybe there's a big turnover or a big special teams play. But I really can't forecast a Michigan victory -- moral or otherwise.
