Lions 2010 Pets Calendar Launch

Detroit Lions' players who participated in the 2010 Detroit Lions Pet Calendar will be signing calendars at Buffalo Wild Wings in Westland (6677 N. Wayne Rd.) on Monday, November 2 from 6:00-9:00 PM. All proceeds will benefit the Dearborn Animal Shelter as part of the Lions' seventh annual pet calendar project with the shelter.
The event will be in conjunction with The Buffalo Wild Wings Lions' Review Show that is broadcast on WXYT The Ticket 97.1 and features Coach Jim Schwartz and Calvin Johnson as the radio co-hosts along with Dan Miller, the WJBK Fox 2 sports anchor and radio voice of the Lions. The show runs from 7:00-8:00 PM at Buffalo Wild Wings. Calvin Johnson is featured on the cover of this year's calendar.
Players featured in the 2010 Pet Calendar are Jeff Backus, Landon Cohen, Jordon Dizon, Casey FitzSimmons, Nick Harris, Calvin Johnson, Daniel Loper, Don Muhlbach, Kevin Smith, Drew Stanton and Dewayne White. Dan Miller and Jim Brandstatter, the radio team of the Lions are also featured in the calendar and they, along with several players, will be on hand at Buffalo Wild Wings.
Calendars are $15.00 and need to be purchased to be autographed. The event is open to the public and calendars will be sold at the event. They can also be purchased in the Lions' Pro Shop at Ford Field and at www.dearborn-animals.com.
